School stationary.

Hello, because I'm going back to school onThursday I thought I would do a school related blog so I'm going to be blogging about my stationary.

This is my first pencil case which I will be putting all of my sharpies in.
These sharpies came in a pack of 28 from tesco and they were only £7.99! Sharpies are my favourite make of pens because there are so many different colours and although they go through the paper they are really good and would defiantly recommend that you bought some.

This is my second pencil case which has got all of my everyday things in. This is the pencil case which will be on my desk the most because it's small and fits all of my things in.
This is what is in my everyday pencil case. I've got glue, scissors, pencils, pens, a rubber, maths things and a fold out ruler which I think I'd really useful because it only takes up as much room as a 15cm ruler butfds out to be a 30cm ruler.
This is my third and final pencil case which has mainly got colouring pencils and pens in.
In this pencil case I also put some spare pens and pencils in case the others brake. I also have my calculator a 15cm ruler, sharpies and sharpie highlighters.

I hope you enjoyed this blog and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Wales!

Hi I'm in Wales!! Yay! I've only been here since Saturday so I have only been to a few places but I hope you like my blog.

The first place that I went to was Llandudno. The views are really nice and I had a really nice time. When I went to the arcade on the pier I got the jackpot on one of the machines and I won 800 tickets and my dad was just stood there folding them all up (thank you :) )

On Monday I went to a farm where you can feed goats, horses, pigs, chickens and cows. The first picture is of Jimmy Choo the horse, the big white horse is called Toppy and the smaller horse is called donut!! When I was walking past a little black goat had escaped and a sheep farted!!

On Tuesday my auntie and my cousin came on the train to stay with us until Thursday. I'm currently out for tea because it was my aunties birthday ( happy birthday auntie Helen!)

Today I went to the zoo and its was amazing! The Welsh Mountain Zoo is the best zoo because you can get so close to the animals and I got to see my favourite animals - MEERKATS!!

You can go into the lemur enclosure and there are lemurs just walking around infront of you (and they look like they're doing yoga!) they have red squirrels and they look like they are dancing and they have a sealion show!!

I hope you enjoyed reading about my holiday in Wales so far and let me know if you have been anywhere this summer.

August favourites.

Hello. Today is Sunday which means a new blog yayyyyyy. Today's blog is going to be a favourites blog, I hope you enjoy!

So the first thing on my list is papertowns (the film) because it's really funny in some parts, sad in others but it's very mysterious. I really really enjoyed this film because you get to know the characters and I would definitely recommend watching it.

The next thing on my list is the baby skin primer because once you've applied it its leaves your skin feeling really soft and smooth. At the moment there is a very good deal on in boots where it's 2 for £10 or £7.99 each.
Next is the new Tanya Burr nail varnish in the shade of mini marshmallows. I really like this shade after you have applied at least 3 coats because it's a nice pastel pink.
This next thing is a bit random but they are delicious and only £1.57 (I think!) I can only seem to find them in the superdrug in Chester so that is the place to go!! I really like the taste of these although I'm not really a banana fan and I want to go back to Chester to buy more!!

The next 2 things are going to be songs. The first one is she's kinda hot by 5sos. This is one of my favourite songs and I really like the music video. It's only 99p on iTunes so I would definately download it if i were you.

The final thing on my list of favourites is black magic my little mix. I listen to this song on repeat and it always gets stuck in my head(which is usually a bad thing but because I love the song so much then it's actually quite a good thing.) This is also only 99p on iTunes so go and buy it (when you've finished reading my blog obviously.) :-)

Thank you for reading my blog I hope you liked it and I would definately recommend buying some/most of this stuff. Tell me if you do.

Salted caramel brownies.

Hi. Last Wednesday's blog was going to be how to make salted caramel brownies but I'm doing it today instead because I couldn't get wifi in the hotel I was staying in.

Salted caramel brownies (serves 18)

What you will need:
Unsalted butter - 175g (and extra for greasing)
Dark chocolate - 250g
Golden caster sugar - 250g
3 eggs
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Plain flour - 150g
Milk chocolate chips - 200g
A jar of salted caramel

Recipe:

• Heat the oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4. Line the base and sides of a 30cm x 20cm x 3cm baking tin with baking parchment, then butter.

• Melt the butter and dark chocolate together either in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water or in the microwave on a low setting. Stir until smooth and then leave to cool a little.

• Whisk the sugar and eggs together with electric beaters until pale and thick. Mix in the vanilla and melted butter and chocolate. Sift the flour and fold into the batter with the chocolate chips. Pour half of the batter into the tin and evenly dollop the salted caramel over the mixture then pour the rest of the mixture over the top. Bake for 35 minutes. When you take the tray out of the oven there might be a few places where the salted caramel has leaked out a bit but that doesn't matter.

• Cool in the tin then cut into squares and place on a plate big enough to fit them all on to.
These are my absolute favourite things to make/eat because you can't see the salted caramel on some pieces until when you bite into them and it all comes oozing out.

I hope you found this quite helpful and let me know if you have tried or are going to try and make some.

Lanzarote!

Hello. I'm really sorry that I didn't post a blog on Sunday or Wednesday. The reason behind this is because I couldn't get any wifi in the hotel that I was staying in so I'm going to do them today instead.

So as some of you may know I was on holiday in Lanzarote and I had a really good time. I got back yesterday and I'm just unpacking and packing again because I'm going to Wales on Saturday (I will be doing a blog about that as well.)

So when I flew to Lanzarote (on the 13th of August) I had quite a long flight. It took about 4 hours and 15 minutes to fly there so we arrived at the hotel at about 5:30pm which gave us just enough time to unpack everything and have tea.

The room was really clean and tidy when we arrived and the view was amazing from the balcony. We had a pool view which was really nice because you could see lots of trees, cacti and obviously the pool! In the room there was a safe (which I used a lot) , a fridge (which was really handy because as it was 29degrees you need a lot of water to keep hydrated) and a fair amount of storage for clothes and other things like swimwear and shoes.

In the pool they have things for everyone such as water slides, aquazumba, water dance, waterpollo and a lot more.  There is a pool for children aged maybe 1-3, another pool (with the water slides in) for all children aged 4-14 and a 3rd pool for adults and children of any age with the shallowest bit (35cm) to the deepest bit (165cm.)

There is also a coffe shop called "Mike's" which sells milkshakes, smoothies and coffee!

In the hotel that I stayed in they have really nice chocolates which the people who clean your room leave on your pillow.

One day when I went to the market I got a braid and I love it! Although it was €15 it was defiantly worth it. You get given a load of designs to choose from, you tell them which one you want and they simply just get a bit of your hair and wrap the string around it so that in the end it turns out to be the design that you chose.

The restaurant in the hotel is really nice because you can sit outside or inside and there is food for everyone with different themes every night. Some nights they even have a chocolate fountain! If you sit outside (which I did most nights) then you get to see the outside entertainment.

To end with I just want to say that my flight back was really good because it only took 3 hours and 45 minutes and although there was a bit if turbulence coming back from Lanzarote it was one of the best flights I have been on. Thank you jet2!

Zoella Tutti Frutti Beauty range review.

Hello today I'm going to be doing a blog on the Zoella Tutti frutti body mist, the lip balm and the shower gel.

First of all I will talk about the body mist called lets spritz. I really like the scent of this because it's really summery and the packaging is really nice. The price of this is really good and affordable at £7.99 per bottle. I don't think I can fault this. 5/5 stars.

Next I'm going to be reviewing the shower jel called foam sweet foam. I really like this and I use this a lot in the shower because of its amazing smell. The price of this is really good at £3.50 for a 250ml bottle. As the bottle is quite hard it's hard to get the shower gel out but that is the only thing I have to fault. 4/5 stars.

Finally I will be reviewing the kissy missy lip balm. I really like the colour of this although it is very pigmented. The only other thing is that when you've finished applying it, your finger is bright pink and is fairly hard to get off. The packaging is really cool and although it is quite pigmented you don't have to have it that bright. Another upside is that it's really affordable at just £3. 3/5 stars.

I hope you found this quite helpful and I would definitely recommend buying some.

Lush review.

Hi. I have decided that I will do blog posts on Sundays and Wednesdays so I hope you like my first proper blog.

For my first blog I will be reviewing some of my lush things.

First of all I have my absolute favourite body lotion, vanilla dee-lite. The reason why I absolutely love this is because it smells amazing. The only down side about it is thst it takes a while to all sink into your skin so if you are in a rush I wouldn't put this on. I tend to use this after all of my showers that I have in the morning so that I smell nice for the day ahead. I can't believe that they discontinued this because it is one of my favourite things from lush. 4/5 stars

The next thing that I will be reviewing is the yuzu and cocoa shower cream. This is part of the new range in lush and it smells like chocolate orange. The only thing I have to say about this is it's quite yellow and it's quite pricey at £4.95 per 1 100g bottle. It is a very good size for holidays because it doesn't take up that much room but if you are concerned about it leaking everywhere in your suitcase then unscrew the lid, put cling film over it and screw the lid back on that way it has a better chance of not leaking. 3/5 stars

I'm really disappointed that they have also discontinued this next thing. It is my favourite thing from lush and it's the space girl bathbomb. This is my absolute favourite thing from lush because it smells amazing and the colour of your bath will be a nice, sparkly, purpley blue colour. 5/5 stars

Finally I'm going to review the ickle baby bot bathbomb. This leaves your bath a nice turquoise colour and it looks really cute. I have to say that I think it could snap easier than some of the other bathbombs because of the shape of it but this bathbomb has to be my favourite to look at because it's a robot - it just looks really fun and I think it's a really nice smelling bathbomb. 4/5 stars

Introduction.

Hi I'm Lucy and I'm going to be posting about beauty, fashion and lifestyle. I like YouTube, playing the guitar, 5 seconds of summer (5sos) and marshmallows. Some of my favourite shops are Primark, Superdrug and lush. Most of my blog post are probably going to be reviews on things I have bought from various shops.
