Favourite Easter chocolate.

Hello so as tomorrow is Easter I thought I'd tell you what some of my favourite Easter chocolate is.
So first of all are these mini Oreo eggs. Even though I don't like the Oreo biscuits, I absolutely love these. I don't really have anything else to say about them exept for that you should go and buy some!
Next are mini eggs. Who doesn't like mini eggs? I love mini eggs. If you don't like mini eggs then you are crazy. Also how many times can I say mini eggs in one blog! You should go and buy some mini eggs because they are amazing. :)
Next are the Cadbury/ dairy milk egg and spoons. I actually only found out that Cadburys and dairy milk were the same thing yesterday! :) these are little chocolate eggs filled with a really nice  chocolate mousse which you can eat with the little plastic purple spoons they give you :)
(I couldn't find a decent photo of a Cadburys dairy milk egg so here is one with a snazzy monkey on instead :) )
Finally is the classic dairy milk Easter egg which I absolutely love and I look forward to these every Easter :)

Thank you for reading todays blog and I hope you enjoyed it. Also happy Easter for tomorrow!

Zootropolis film review.

Hello so first of all I decided that I would now only blog on Saturdays because I was struggling to think of ideas and it's just easier for me. In the future I might go back to blogging for two days a week but for now I'm only going to be blogging once a week.

Anyway today I went to see a film called zootropolis and I really enjoyed it so I thought I'd tell you a bit about it.

This film is about two characters who go on a mission to try and find the 14 missing animals.

The rabbit was called Judy Hopps and the fox was called Nick Wilde. So Judy and Nick have to go out to try and find one of the predators but they end up finding them all hidden away in a big chamber because they were going crazy and hurting people.
SPOILER: it turns out that it was the flowers that were turning the animals vicious and they eventually put everything back to normal.
I really liked this film and my favourite character is flash the sloth. He's a really funny character who speaks really slowly!

This film is a PG and lasts around 2 hours. Overall I would definitely recommend going to watch this film. I would rate it 5/5 stars!

Thank you for reading todays blog and I hope you enjoyed it.

Jam tarts recipe.

Hello so today I'm going to be telling you about how to make the best jam tarts in some simple steps.

So you will need:
- 200g plain flour
- 100g butter
- some water!
- jam/ lemon curd or whatever else you want to fill them with.
(Makes 12)

Shortcrust pastry method:
• sieve the flour into a bowl and rub the butter into the flour with your fingers until it looks a bit like breadcrumbs!
• add the water a bit of a time to form your dough.
• roll out your dough on a lightly floured work surface.

Method:
~ preheat your oven to gas 6 or 190 degrees.
~ make the pastry and cut out the shapes for you tarts. (My cutter was a bit small so I cut the shapes out then rolled it out a bit more).
~ place your pastry in a greased baking tin and add your filling.
~ bake for 15 minutes until jam is bubbling.
~ enjoy!

Roly's Fudge Shop!

Hello so there is this really nice fudge shop which I go to every time I go to Chester.
My favourite flavour is the cherry bakewell flavour because I think it's just vanilla fudge with glacé cherries in but I really like it.
The cherry bakewell flavour has also won an award!
This is what the inside of the shop looks like. It's a really small but cute shop with a lot of fudge inside! It's also really cool because when you are in there you can see the fudge being made. The smell when you walk inside is also amazing.

If you want to try the fudge they usually have tasters out but I'm sure if you ask for a tater then you'd get one.

They have a variety of flavours like vanilla, strawberry, rum and raisin, sea salt, chocolate, cherry bakewell, honeycomb, lemon meringue and a lot more.

They also sell these really nice gift boxes which I think are a really nice idea for a present.

I would definitely recommend going and buying some fudge because it's the nicest fudge ever. It's really crumbly and sweet and you can also mix and match different flavours of fudge, a bit like a pick and mix.

Thank you for reading todays blog and I hope you enjoyed it.

Lottie London make up brush review.

Hello so a few weeks ago I went to superdrug and I went to see these brushes because they look so nice and they are brightly coloured.
These are the lottie London brushes.

The packaging is so nice because it's really simple but eye catching. The brushes also look really nice because they are all different colours.

I also like the way how it's wooden so it's nice to hold!
The brushes are sooo soft and I really like them.
I got the powder brush and the concealer brush.

The powder brush is really good because you can tell when you need to wash it because the brush is blue so when it gets powdery and dirty you will be able to tell!
It picks up a lot of powder and it's really soft so I would definitely recommend it. The powder brush was £7.99.
I can't believe that these brushes aren't more popular.

The concealer brush is also amazing because it's green so you can tell when you need to wash it. This is definitely the best concealer brush I have tried because it works really well and it is soft!
This was £5.99 and I would definitely recommend it.

Overall I really like them and I would definitely recommend buying them for yourself or a gift for someone else.

Thank you for reading todays blog and I hope you enjoyed it.

Eos lip balms.

Hello so a few weeks ago my dad got me a set of 5 eos lip balms. I already had one which was the strawberry sorbet one and I loved it.
These were the 5 that I got.
They are passion fruit, blueberry açai, strawberry sorbet, summer fruit and sweet mint.
I really like eos lip balms because they help my lips and moisturises them.

I love the smell of them all but I especially like the blueberry açai one because it smells of blueberry muffins.

The mint one is unusual because it makes your lips tingle. It also smells of mint ice cream!

They are usually about £6:99 each but this pack was only £15 so I would definitely recommend buying this for you or as a gift for someone else. You can buy them off amazon.

Thank you for reading today's blog. Sorry it was a bit short! You should definitely try eos lip balms out because they are amazing!

Apple crumble recipe.

Hello so last week I made apple crumble and I didn't think I liked it but I tried it and it was actually quite nice so I thought I'd tell you the recipe. (I'm making it tomorrow too!)

Ingredients:
Topping:
• 200g plain flour
• 100g butter
• 75g sugar
Base:
• 500g baking apples
• 50g sugar to put on the fruit. This is optional but I put it on because I think it's nicer.

• Also an ovenproof dish to cook it in.

Method:
• Put the oven on to 190degreesC or gas 6.
• Prepare the apples and put them at the bottom of the dish. If you are adding sugar to the fruit then sprinkle the 50g of sugar over the apples.
• Put the butter and flour into a large bowl and chop up the butter into the flour using a knife.
• Use your fingers to rub it all together until they turn into crumbs (It should look a bit like bread crumbs).
• Stir the remaining 75g of sugar with a wooden spoon.
• Put the topping over the apples and press down lightly.
• Bake for 20-30 minutes or longer if the apples are hard.
• Enjoy!
like to have mine warm with custard.
