Mini lush haul first impressions.

Hello yesterday I went to lush and I bought a few things so I thought I'd do a first impressions blog about them.
So the first thing I picked up was the bunch of carrots bubble bar. I thought this was really good because you will get 3 uses out of it and it was only £6.25.

I was really really really disappointed when I found out that they had discontinued the carrot soap because it was my favourite thing from lush. But then I found this bubble bar which smells the same as the soap! This is my favourite smell from lush so I will be stocking up on these!

The next thing I got was this bathbomb called fluffy egg. This smells so nice and it was only £2.95. You can get these in two different designs - one with spots and one with zigzag lines.

The last thing I bought is this really cool bathbomb called "which came first?" The reason why I find this cool is because you can get two uses from it. You break it open and you get a little chick inside it. You can use the shell for 1 bath and the chick for another. This also smells really good and it was £6.95.

Thank you for reading today's blog and I hope you enjoyed it.

Lantern festival.

Hello so last Thursday I went to a lantern festival in Liverpool and I had a really good time and got some good photos which I thought I'd show you today.
I really like this photo and the lanterns were all really clever and they all looked so cool.
The owl was really good because it came right up to you and it was really detailed.
This was the biggest one there. I think it was some sort of giant because it was huge! It was really impressive how they made it all from lanterns and how they moved them.

Here are some more photos:

Overall this was a really good night. It lasted about 2 hours though because when you were walking around everyone stopped to take photos and to look at them so it took a bit longer than expected. This was only on for 3 nights but they all completely sold out so I'm sorry I couldn't tell you about it sooner.

Thank you for reading today's blog and I hope you enjoyed it.

Ikea haul.

Hello so yesterday I went to ikea and picked up a few things for my room.
So the first thing is this skuarar pot which  I have put my makeup brushes in. I think that this pot is really pretty and it looks really nice on display!
The next thing I got is this really pretty copper table lamp. This is really nice and it is very bright!
Next is this mirror which is really good because it is wooden but the front but is white. It's a bit hard to explain so look at the picture and hopefully you'll see what I mean!

Finally is this vanilla candle which smells amazing and looks really nice too. I would definitely recommend ikea candles because they smell nice and they are only £1!

Thank you for reading todays blog and I hope you enjoyed it!

Spanish presents!

Hello so on Monday my sister got back from Spain and she got me some presents which I thought I'd tell you a bit about.
First is this donkey. I asked her to get me a donkey but I'm not too sure why! I really like it though and I have put it on display in my room!
Next is this Spanish keyring which is really nice and I have put it on my keys. I really like this because its sparkly and I like the colours.
Finally are these sweets. If you ever go to Spain I would recommend for you to buy some because they are really tasty and I ate them all as soon as I got them! You get 20 sweets and my favourites are the watermelon ones because they actually taste like watermelon!

Thank you for reading today's blog and I hope you enjoyed it. Sorry it was a bit short but thank you to my sister who got me these presents.

Chester zoo.

Hello so yesterday I went to Chester zoo and I had a really good day so I decided to tell you about it.
I really like Chester zoo because it's a great day out and you get to see a lot of animals. I also really like the meerkats!
Next is the two toed sloth! I've actually never seen it move before but yesterday he was really active because he was climbing the ropes and at one point he even came above my head!
Next are the giraffes because they were coming really close and there were two baby ones!
I also thought I would include this camel. I don't know why but I just found the camel really strange! :)
This monkey was being really funny because he was coming upto the glass and smiling! :D

Thank you for reading today's blog and I hope you enjoyed it. I also hope you go and visit Chester zoo because it was a really good day and thank you to my dad for taking me!

Polaroids.

Hello so a few weeks ago I ordered about 40 Polaroids and I really like them so I thought I'd tell you where I got them from and what I want to do with them.
So this is the app that I ordered them from. It's called LALALAB. This app is really good because you can get all different things like Polaroids, canvases, postcards, phone cases and more!
I have this code that will get you £5 off your next order and it'll get me £5 off my next order! If you do an order and go to check out you can type in this code and get £5 off. The code is PGES756R
(This isn't my photo)
This is what I think I want to do with my photos. It's just to stick them on my wall with fairy lights around them. I think it looks really nice.

I'm really happy with the quality of the photos, they're better quality than I thought they would be. I think it was about 39p per Polaroid so it was about £10 but then my sister gave me a code so it was only about £5!

Thank you for reading today's blog and I hope you enjoyed it!

Pancake ideas/inspiration.

Hello so I thought that because it's pancake day on Tuesday, I would tell you about some pancakes that I enjoy eating and some ideas that I think sound quite nice.

Sweet:

So the first one is my absolute favourite. This is just pancakes and Nutella. You can add bananas or strawberries to make it slightly healthier (I prefer bananas). I just love Nutella and I definitely think that you should try these out.
Next is sugar and lemon. I love these pancakes and I would definitely recommend trying them. These also have to be one of my favourites.
Next are pancakes with honey on them. I absolutely love putting honey on pancakes because it's quite sweet and I just really like the taste! If you like sweet things then you should definitely try this out.

Savoury:
So this next one is good for this pancake day because it ties in Chinese New Year with pancake day so you can do two in one. They are pancakes filled with duck, cucumber and a sauce(I don't remember what it's called)!!You can have these for tea/dinner instead of a sweet option if you wanted to be a bit healthier. I have tried these but I don't really remember what they taste like.
I have honestly never tried this recipe but it sounded nice so I decided to include it.
This is a ham, cheese and spring onion pancake. I would like to try this recipe because it looks nice but I prefer sweet pancakes.

Thank you for reading todays blog and I hope you enjoyed it. Happy Chinese New Year & happy pancake day!! :D

Flapjack recipe.

Hello so a few weeks ago in school I made flapjacks and everyone has been saying how nice they were and I was even asked to make them again a few days ago.
I have a confession. I don't like flapjacks. You probably think I'm weird now. :)

So you will need 150g of butter, 75g golden syrup, 225g porridge oats, 50g of Demerara sugar, 1tsp of cinnamon (optional), 50g of raisins (optional), 45g of pumpkin & sunflower seeds (optional) and a tin (18cm by 5cm approx) (round or square).

Preheat the oven to gas mark 4 or 170 degrees C in the fan oven.
Gently melt the butter and golden syrup in a pan.
Place the oats, (cinnamon), sugar, (raisins) & seeds in a bowl and mix.
Pour the melted mixture into the dry mixture and stir well.
Press the mixture into your tin and bake for 20-30 minutes.
Mark into 12 pieces while still warm. Break apart when cold.
I didn't put cinnamon or raisins in but I did put seeds in. The next time I make them I think I'll put chocolate chips in instead of seeds because my dad really wants me to!

Thank you for reading today's blog and please let me know if you try these out.
